FTNN Background/ Project 3

For my FTNN background project I used the polygonal selection tool to carve out 4 triangles (two on each corner). I used Edit> Fill to make them purple. I then warped the purple corners using Edit>Transform>Warp so they would have a curve. I took Francis Tuttle's logo off google, and I used Select>Color Range to get rid of the white border. I also had to use Image>Image Size to make the logo be 300ppi.
The photo I used was unfortunately not taken on school campus. I took it in OKC a couple months ago with a Nikon. I used the remaining space on the original background layer as a purple haze over the photo.
I found a font that I thought looked newsworthy and I gave the type a drop shadow and an inner glow with the Layer fx so it wasn't flat looking. I also embossed the logo for the same reason. Finally, I gave the purple edges a drop shadow for even more depth between layers.
